On the 2nd of Advent, traditional Advent crafts take place for children and adults. The Frankfurt Zoo Friends offer mulled wine and Christmas pastries on the piazza at the Gibbonhaus, while little zoo fans can make gifts for friends and family in the cat jungle. A small flea market by the pond invites you to browse.

Some zoo animals can also look forward to the event: They will receive treats from the food kitchen and if you like, you can watch the beautiful presents being presented.

2.15 p.m.:  Meerkats, meerkat enclosure
2.30 p.m.: Keas, kea enclosure at the playground
